The Coexist Foundation made its presence felt at the Greenbelt Festival in Cheltenham, England Aug. 23-26, sponsoring events and setting up shop at the annual arts, faith and justice celebration.

The Foundation sponsored four events at Greenbelt, including an interfaith panel discussion with Ibrahim Mogra, Rabbi Shoshana Boyd Gelfand, Sarah Snyder and Very Revd David Ison. The panel attracted a crowd of some 800 in the Centaur venue. You can purchase the audio from the discussion here.

Other events included Looking for Allah at 33 Revolutions Per Minute: A Musical Journey and the first ever Scriptural Reasoning session at Greenbelt.

The festival also served as the debut of the Coexist Campaign’s pop-up stall, which sold Coexist products like coffee, t-shirts and stickers. The booth featured t-shirt designs created specifically for Greenbelt, including new slogans (“Keep calm and coexist”) and sizes (children’s sizes and infant onesies). Attendees were also able to sample fair trade coffee from Uganda and try out six different Coexist temporary tattoo designs.
