Representatives of the Coexist Foundation recently completed dialogues with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), in partnership with Adam Dinham at Goldsmiths College. These dialogues culminated in a day-long conference on April 18, which was attended by the CEO of EHRC, Professor Mark Hammond. Professor Hammond spoke eloquently about the challenges facing the EHRC in relation to religious practice. Over a hundred stakeholders including employers and trade unions took part.

On behalf of the EHRC, Coexist is organising a lunch to be hosted by former Archbishop Lord Williams, in his new capacity as Master of Magdelene College Cambridge. It will bring together a distinguished group of leaders from across disciplines to support the work of the EHRC in considering the future protection of religion or belief.
